The Bronte Pistachio Green is known and appreciated throughout the world.

Bronte pistachios, commonly called "green gold" for its beautiful emerald, is the main economic resource of the town of Etna, with about 4000 hectares of land lava of specialized production (of which 415 fall in Etna Park ), it is the main growing area (more than 80% of the regional surface) of Sicily.

Compared to other quality cultivated in the Mediterranean and the Americas, the pistachio has its own color, quality and organoleptic characteristics which make it unique in the world for its sweet taste (that the fruit produced elsewhere have not) and for his unequaled and intense color.

It was the Arabs who introduced the pistachio during the rule of the island around 902, that just at the slopes found the natural breeding ground for lush growth and unique.
